Meet the Team

MiQuel McRae, RDH, AP, BSDH, CDHC is the Founder and Executive Director of Tooth BUDDS and has spent more than 25 years as a dental hygienist dedicated to improving access to oral healthcare. Inspired by the oral health disparities she witnessed in rural Arizona, she created Tooth BUDDS to bring preventive dental services directly to children who might otherwise go without care. MiQuel has been recognized by the American Dental Association for adapting the Community Dental Health Coordinator model and received the Arizona Dental Hygienists’ Association’s Unique Access to Care Award for expanding dental care access in underserved communities.
